We work to see adolescent men moved from resignation to resilience through exploring pastoral counseling interventions that facilitate meaning-making. So, what is meaning-making?
Meaning-making is the process of interpreting life circumstances and events in order to form a deeper understanding of who you are and what gives you purpose.
Christianity says that what gives you purpose is ultimately a Who. Jesus Christ is Who gives your life meaning, and your worth is ultimately located in what He achieved on the cross on your behalf (Romans 5:8, John 1:12).

The name “Resigned 2 Resilient” was chosen intentionally. In early 2023, R2R’s founder, Sam Scott, served on a task force for the Eastern Division of Young Life called “Where Are The Men?”
The task force explored why every measurable statistic in Young Life was skewed 60% female, 40% male.
